We have been involved in the development of molecular pathology software and systems for several years. We were involved in the initial systems engineering for the Omnyx microscope and associated software. More recently we have built multiple applications that allow one of our customers to process and analyze digital pathology slides and to associate those results with clinical data. Figure 1 and 2 are screen shots of the web application that launches and monitors image processing jobs and gathers the results for review. We also developed auxiliary tools that allowed this customer to load slide data and to launch those jobs on a parallelized architecture.
